Volunteer Opportunity in North Park

Trail improvement project in May/June

We intend to build two "trail turnpikes" over persistently wet areas on the Rachel Carson Trail (not far from Harmar Shelter) in North Park.  Help is needed for the following activities:  digging, hauling logs, pounding re-bar into logs to hold them in place, moving and compacting gravel, laying out rock, partially burying the rock and pounding stones between rocks.
