Calling all trail lovers! We are hosting two trail maintenance weekends this summer, in and around beautiful Cook Forest. We'll be focusing on clearing debris and cutting back overgrowth to keep the Baker Trail in peak conditions for everyone. 
  • Weekend #1: If camping, Friday, July 17 through Monday, July 20. Workdays: Saturday, July 18 and Sunday,  July 19. 
  • The location: Cook Forest in Leeper, PA (see below for exact meeting point on Saturday and Sunday) 
  • The Work: cutting back branches and clearing trail debris 
  • The Perk: free camping at Ridge Campground. For those wanting to camp at the Ridge Campground for the weekend, contact Dewaine (dewaineb@gmail.com) to save your spot!  
  • The Schedule: Arrive Friday night; campsites must be cleared by Monday morning. Or if you plan to come for one day and not camp, see below for timing and location for each workday. 
  • What to bring: your own food, water and your favorite hand tools

Volunteers will meet up: on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, both days at 9:000 a.m. at the Log Cabin Environmental Center parking lot in Cook Forest.
