Riddle Run Road trail work day

The hillside heading east from the Freeport Road/Riddle Run Road intersection is badly eroded, so we will rework it to direct water flow off of the trail. We will also replace the old steps with something better. We also plan to revise the bottom of the hill so that hikers will no longer come down the hill directly at the intersection but instead angle north to make the final descent more gradual so that trail users will be more under control coming down the hill. Primarily a digging event, but areas will need to be cleared as well.

Bring gloves, loppers, hand clippers, hand saw, mattock or McLeod (tools are available if you don't have them), and water & snacks for yourself.
