We are relocating the existing trail down hill from its present location and onto Army Corp of Engineer property. This section of trail represents the best of Pennsylvania's amazing woodlands and waterways. Towering hemlocks, lichen covered boulders, ferns, Rhododendron, mountain laurel, camping and canoeing. Come, be a part of building that special path in the woods that will inspire and welcome the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. Tent camping is free and we provide all your meals, gloves and tools. Camping takes place at Creekbend Campground, 140 Creekbend Lane, New Bethlehem, PA 16242The work days begin at 8:30 a.m. and end by 4:00 p.m. giving team members plenty of time to hang out at the huge picnic pavilion, play tennis ball golf, or just nap in the shade. The remote location is a special treat to those who like to see wildlife, deer, fox, porcupine, turkey, an hawks! We usually get a morning or two of valley fog with spectacular sunrises. We look forward to seeing you there! In order for us to plan properly for supplies, please let us know you are coming and something about your experience doing trail maintenance (don't worry if you haven't done it before, we love to show new people!). If you are an experienced trail worker, don't hesitate to let us know if you are bringing any tools with you. Welcome to 2019!
