#OptOutside Kids Trail Run

For the third year in a row, North Park Trail Runners and Rachel Carson Trails Conservancy are co-hosting a family-friendly trail run (or hike!) on Black Friday. Skip the shopping madness and join us outside for some trail fun! We'll meet at the Orchard/Ling Pavilions in Hampton Community Park and then make our way as a group to the Rachel Carson Trail for a two-mile hike/run. We encourage the children to explore their surroundings and get in touch with nature. Get muddy, if possible. This isn't a race; speed is not rewarded on this day. The ability to suppress whining or complaining will be recognized with a tasty cookie (or two) at the conclusion.

Bring water to drink and dress in layers. If you plan to do some running, you can shed a layer or two when you get hot.

This event is FREE and there's no registration; simply show up!
